Washing Instructions

Every One Star Tees shirt is printed to order, with ink that goes into the fabric instead of sitting on top of it. Treat it right and the joke will outlast most empires.

How to wash

• Turn it inside out before washing. This is the big one: it protects the print.
• Machine wash cold (30°C / 86°F max) on a gentle cycle, with similar colors.
• Mild detergent only. No bleach and no fabric softener.
• Hang dry for the longest life, or tumble dry on low.
• Iron inside out on low heat if you need to. Never iron directly on the print.
• Do not dry clean.

Your first wash

Fresh out of the bag, a new shirt can have a faint vinegar-like smell or a slightly stiff print. That's left over from the printing process and goes away after the first wash.

Hoodies and sweatshirts

Same rules: inside out, cold, gentle, low heat. Fleece lasts longer (and pills less) when it's washed with other soft items instead of jeans and towels.
